Our client supplied us with his new Gibson Les Paul Custom for a repaint and refinish with his desired custom graphics as well as a few parts and electronic changes. After we took the instrument apart, we stripped the Alpine White paint and finish. We then removed the binding and re-bound it in white as he asked. The next phase was prepping for paint. We repainted and refinished with his custom graphic concept on both sides as well as repainting and refinishing the remaining instrument to what was asked of us, including the headstock, neck and the sides of the instrument while preserving the logo, inlay and serial number. The client did specifically ask us to position the back graphic that way so when he is performing it would read correctly when flipping over the guitar to his audience. After gloss finishing it was on to assembly to the finish line!
