A message from the consignor:

"This amplifier, once belonging to James Vincent is very cool.

If you're stuck at home perfecting your tone, why not have an amplifier that has the most awesome sound available?

This professionally modded 100w vintage Fender Deluxe, in very nice condition was put into cold storage for several decades. It's now ready and raring to power through 2020 and beyond.

An intricate hybrid, this amplifier was recreated fresh from the Fender factory (circa 1970's) by the same technicians who exclusively produced gear for Carlos Santana, H.P. Lovecraft, Big Brother, The Grateful Dead and countless other 60's legends who grew up from the San Francisco Filmore West music scene.

This amplifier sounds like no other Fender Twin on the market and it can be yours today, but hurry!

It impressed Bruce Botnik (The Doors) so much that he originally used it to great effect on James Vincent's "Space Traveler" record in 1976 which became a number one hit in San Francisco. Incidentally, Peter Cetera sings on the album.

About James: He started out with the original Chicago, but turned them down when they wanted to move to Los Angeles. Terry Kath was his best friend and they were always trying to outdo each other. James played with Jerry Garcia, Verdine White, H.P. Lovecraft and Aorta. In the 1970's James was a session player with countless other superstars such as George Harrison - Need more?

For more on James, check out his brand new biography, "Space Traveler - A Musician's Odyssey". Available at many bookstores.

When this amplifier came about at the height of his career, James had the finest vintage sounding parts, tubes and wiring professionally installed by his friends at the boutique Marin Recorders, circa 1970's. The same people who built or modified a lot of gear for the aforementioned legendary artist's previously mentioned.

This amplifier was rewired to 1969 "Black Face specs". It also features Music Man speakers, Groove Tubes with an excellent transformer and circuits.

You can own this historic, killer amplifier that will compliment your tone for home and stage alike.

The ballpark figure on this amplifier is $2000.00 because it is one of a kind and seriously special sounding."

The client expressed, because he is now retired that he is very open to offers and asked us to encourage offers, even low ball offers! We've played through this amplifier in our shop and it does indeed look and sound all around great!
